To kick off the Sustainability Track of #BuildItBackBetter, and in partnership with Starbucks, we invite you to join us for a conversation between three luminaries — Dr Robert Bullard, Bill McKibben and Heather McTeer Toney — where we will discuss some of the most compelling and innovative potential solutions to the issue of climate justice.
Relax and relive the moment. Share your thoughts with us at council@nationswell.com.
The issue of climate change and need for environmental sustainability are intimately bound up with the fight for justice and equality. Organizers across the country and world, in particular those from the younger generations, are mobilizing to try to halt and reverse the effects of climate change and address the ways in which it disproportionately impacts marginalized communities.
Together, we will explore what climate justice looks like, and what it will take to get there, as we work to rebuild a better and more resilient nation.
Starbucks envisions a world that is people, planet, and profit positive. Starbucks has made a pledge to halve their water, waste and carbon footprint by 2030.
